The total length is equal to 34.5 km, and it takes about an hour to cover it all. Or half the time to reach the opposite station, choosing the clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
Tourists often use it to explore the Japanese capital, as several “attractions” and places to visit can be reached thanks to the Yamanote Line: Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Ueno, Tokyo Station.
